A few days ago, Mia and I had a head start in celebrating this year’s Valentine’s Day. We decided to have an early dinner here at Lola Cafe, just at the back of Mia’s preschool, Little Sandbox.
Since the next few days will present extended work schedules, we opted to have heart’s day plans early. Lola Cafe has been serving modern Miami Filipino Restaurant cuisine for many years.
Apparently, they have a Valentine menu for two all set-up. This restaurant has options of Php 1,299, Php 1,499 and Php 1,699, each one a full course menu.
We got the Php 1,499 deal. Each category of appetizer, pasta, mains, starch, dessert, and drinks gives you a decent number of options. I liked that I had even more flexibility to explore my cravings.
So for roughly Php 750 per head, all that we had was a steal deal. Imagine having a significant slab of Humba Pork Belly, glazed in sweet sauce and marinated well all the way to its core. That itself, for me, was worth a Php 1,000.
Mia and I struggled to finish everything else! We had uniquely curated Tinapa Salad, savory and sweet Aligue Pasta, 2 garlic rice, a pitcher of iced tea, a glass of wine and 2 plates of Cheesecake!
What a deal. It was a sweet set.
My favorite amongst what I had really was their own creation of Cheesecake. I normally would have a few spoonfuls, I had more than I should.
If you are still searching for the Valentine date, I suggest considering Lola Cafe. They are located at 99 Scout Lozano Street, Laging Handa, QC. It is near Tomas Morato.
